1. Program

Program name: Hostee Venue Suite Notifications. Sender: Hostee Venue Suite, operated by Guardian Media, Inc., 400 Hornettown Rd, Morgantown, IN 46160, USA, and the venues and event businesses that use Hostee (for example, The Barn at Timber Ridge), which text their own clients and team members through Hostee.

2. What we text

• Account notifications: sign-in and security codes, payment and pay confirmations, and changes to your account.
• Event and booking updates: reminders, planning form and quote updates, schedule changes, and day-of details.
• Customer care: replies from a venue or its team to messages you send, and answers to your questions.
• Team notifications for venue staff: shift and time clock reminders and work-note prompts.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

3. How you opt in

You opt in by ticking the unchecked text-message box where you give your phone number (for example, your Hostee profile, a venue’s client portal under Alerts, or our contact form), or by texting START to a Hostee number. The box says:

Message frequency varies with your account and events. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

5. Stop, help and support

• Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL) to stop. You’ll get one confirmation text and no more messages.
• Reply START to opt back in.

6. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
